PREPARING THE FREEZER INSERTS.

Half fill a sink with lukewarm later and place the dry packs on the surface of the water with the porous soft perforated side facing down into the water. Allow to soak for 10 minutes making sure the total area of the underside is flat and in the water. Once the packs have swelled with water check that all the cells are completely full.

After filling remove the packs from the water and wipe dry making sure no moisture is left on the pack. Place packs in a freezer for at least 8 hours before using for the first time. Do not stack anything on top of the packs when placing in the freezer. After use store your ice packs in the freezer to re-use when needed.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, a freezer should be set at 0 F (-18 C).

PREPARING THE FAT FREEZING BELTS

Take belts out of bag, open the velcro fastening and slide in the correct size freezer pack into the belt making sure the clear smooth side NOT the perforated side faces the lining which will be against your body and fasten the velcro closed.

Place the cold part of the belt (with the inserts inside) on the area to be treated and fasten the elastic band with the velcro compressing it in place to apply pressure. To deliver the maximum amount of coldness to the target area tighten the belt so that the area is  compressed.

Wear for 60 minutes then remove the belt and massage the treated area.

For best result do not engage in any activities that can raise the core body temperature. It is best to relax for 60 minutes watching TV or reading etc. whilst wearing the belt 

AREAS THAT CAN BE TREATED

Upper & lower abdomen, upper arms, inner and outer thighs, love handles, flanks, muffin top, banana rolls (underneath buttocks), hips, male torso/man boobs. The applicator cannot be used for the chin, ankles or wrists as usually these areas are too small to treat. Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) can be used to reduce “man boobs” but cannot be used to treat female breast tissue or gynocomastia.

You will unfortunately not be able to use the belt if any of the following apply:

• Cryoglobulinemia (abnormal blood proteins that thicken in cold temperatures)
• Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria (sudden development of red blood cell breakdown causing hemoglobin in the urine).
• Cold urticarial (large, allergic hives that occur when the skin is exposed to cold)
• Severe diabetes
• Liver problems
• Areas of impaired peripheral circulation
• Raynaud’s disease
• Pregnancy or intending to become pregnant
• Breastfeeding
• Scar tissue or extensive skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis at the area of intended treatment
• Impaired skin sensation
• Open or infected wounds
• Areas of recent bleeding or haemorrhage

For best results, use your fat freezing belt for 60 mins per area per day for 30 days. If you miss a day or two that’s fine, just carry on the next day. After 30 days of use give your body a break so that it does not acclimate to the cold, which can potentially decrease the effectiveness over time. Start the program again 30 days later to keep shaping your target areas throughout the year.

For maintenance, use 1-3 times a week between programs. Results are not immediate. It takes time for the body to respond and will vary with each individual but drinking 2 litres of water a day will assist in eliminating metabolic (dead fat cells) waste from the body.
